This is the final report that I will be generating. The screen captures below show all of the choices that went into generating this report.

Introduction Screen
![]()
Start a new report or load an existing report. Loading an existing report will prepopulate all wizard values to those of the existing report.
![]()
Here I specify that I want to start a new report.
![]()
These are the fields I want for this report.
![]()
Here are the selected fields. Of course, if I change my mind I can make adjustments here as well.
![]()
Now I specifiy the colunm order for the fields I selected. I moved the CurValue field up to the top of the list so it will appear in the left most column of the report.
![]()
Here I specify sorts and filters. In this case I intend to sort by current value descending and I filter by Manufacturer like Savage. As you see in the report, since I only have one item with a manufacturer like Savage the sort by doesn't really matter.
![]()
At this point in the process I have several options as shown.
![]()
Here is the default preview. I can select a few report format options and print from here. Closing the window takes me back to the previous screen so I can select another option.
![]()
To get to this screen, I chose the "View as Web Page" option. I can now make font and color selections for how I would like the report to look as a web page. These selections generated the sample report shown earlier. Of course, with HTML, I can only make suggestions with regard to how I want the report to look. The web browser takes my suggestions and then does whatever it wants with them! You can see the results in the screen capture of the report displayed above and below.
![]()
Now that I have generated the report, I can save it for later retrieval.
![]()
However, I am not done yet, I can export my data to any of the formats shown above. This is great for loading up the data in other tools like Excel.
The resulting report is displayed at the top of this page.
At this point, you can publish your report to the web by simply using your web browser to "Save Page As" and give it a name. Then copy the files produced (the .html file and a folder with the same name) to your web hosting site and you have your web page!)
NOW, say you want your pictures to appear ...
![]()
Now, with a simple click to select pictures, you can generate the following report (which includes pictures)!
![]()
Once again, here is the report that was generated.
At this point, you can publish your report to the web by simply using your web browser to "Save Page As" and give it a name. Then copy the files produced (the .html file and a folder with the same name) to your web hosting site and you have your web page!)
Don't you just love those colors? If not, with this tool you can choose your own!
