Valuing a firearm is very hard to do and often the price guides are wrong. However, if you don't mind paying for an idea of what your gun is worth, you can try the Blue Book of Gun Values. No longer associated with GunTracker software but they do have a replacement. They call it Blue Book of Guns Inventory Software Program ( ISP ). If anybody wants to try it please let me know what you think. So far I have not heard positive reports back but my customers may be biased. :) I must say, however, they must have a huge advertising budget with 1/2 page color ads regularly appearing in Shotgun News!
