Features

Manage any type of Collection including Home Inventory

Use this software to track specialized collections or your complete home inventory.  It is built to be flexible and usable across all of your devices whether they be desktop computers or mobile devices.

Easy to use features allow you to:

  • Manage any type of collection.  If a predefined template does not exist for what you want to collect you can modify an existing template to fit your needs or create a new template from scratch.

  • Add, remove and view multiple photographs of each item in your collection.

  • Enter and retrieve information in an intuitive and logical interface.

  • Save data-entry time by selecting common information that is already available in drop down lists.

  • Edit the drop down lists and enter the characteristics that are common to your collection.

  • Print multiple reports including receipt and disposition, inventory with and without pictures, and custom reports where you define what fields to include in a report.

  • Track the cost and value (both appraised and realized) of your collection, in whole or in part, with built in statistics page view.

  • Keep maintenance records.

  • Include Data Sheets for each item with free form text to enter whatever you want.

  • Associate items with each other.  Items can be in same collection or different collections.

  • Link other sources of information to each item like receipts, links to external web pages and documents of any type that your device supports.

The following tabs are available by default:

  • Identification Tab … Enter key identification information..  Fields vary by collection template.  A Custom Tag field is provided for all templates.  This field can be used to enter your own unique identifier for the item.

  • Description Tab … Add key information to describe the item.  Fields vary by collection template.  Common fields across all templates include:

    • Appraised By

    • Appraised Value

    • Current Value

    • Insured Value​

    • Date Manufactured

    • Date Appraised

    • Date Current Value

    • Date Insured

    • Condition Comments

    • Notes

  • Pictures Tab … Add one or more pictures and Notes for each picture.  Default fields are:​​

    • Include in Reports - choose which pictures to include in your reports.​

    • Sequence - define in what order pictures are displayed.

    • Date Taken

    • Notes

  • Receipt Tab … Enter who you acquired the item from, the date you acquired it and how much you paid for it.  Default fields are:​​

    • Business​

    • Name

    • License Number

    • Street1

    • Street2

    • City

    • State

    • Zip

    • Notes

  • Disposition Tab … Enter who you disposed the item to, the date you disposed of it and how much you were paid for it.   Default fields are:​​

    • Business​

    • Name

    • License Number

    • Street1

    • Street2

    • City

    • State

    • Zip

    • I.D. - Type of identification provided by the person the item was dispositioned to.

    • Alien Residency Documentation

    • D.O.B.

    • Notes

  • Related Tab ... Add relationships to other items in the same collection or other collections.

  • Maintenance Tab … Create and track maintenance logs.  Default fields are:​​

    • Operation

    • Completed Units - unit measurement for maintenance intervals

    • Next Due Units - unit measurement for next due

    • Completed Increment - last maintenance operation completed

    • Next Due Increment - next maintenance operation due

    • Completion Cost - cost of last maintenance operation

    • Completion Date - date last operation was completed

    • Next Due Date - date next maintenance operation is due

    • Description - step by stem maintenance instructions

  • Events Tab … Create and track events.   Default fields are:​​

    • Event - type of event

    • Cost - cost of event

    • Date - date of event

    • Description - explanation of event

    • Results - what happened at the event

    • Helpers - who helped with the event

    • Location - where the event was held

  • Data Sheet Tab … Keep detailed data sheets when appropriate.  Free form text to provide whatever additional information is desired

  • Links Tab … Link to files on your local device or on the web.  These files can be of any type and will be opened by the appropriate application on your device.

Other features:

  • ​Statistics Screen … Review summary information and detailed information for each item. Double click any line to go to the corresponding item. Click a heading to sort by that column. You can also export your data to Comma Delimited (MS Excel) and XML files from this page. Ideal for gun collecting!

  • Reports ... There are many reports including Acquisition and Disposition (A&D), several forms of Inventory Reports, and a custom report option where you can select fields to include in a report.

  • Customization ... 

    • Add new types of collections or make changes to existing collections.

    • Modify data captured in any tab of any collection.

    • Change tab labels​
